Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is considered as a gentler form of yoga that can be done by those who are not physically fit. However, I feel that it is much more than that for the stressed-out modern person.

It is actually “very” difficult to do nothing but be still and breathe.
The reason is that since our birth into this world, we have been subjected to numerous “Do’s” and “Have’s”, which we have a fear of losing it.

It is a miracle that our hearts are still beating today. Our gratitude for “Be” might be the only truth for us to keep living.
In fact, the fear of facing the only “Be” is difficult to overcome. Once we are able to overcome it through the practice of restorative yoga, we will be able to come back to our safe place at any time. This is why we practice “Be”.
The practice of restorative yoga comes with some extras, such as relaxing muscle tension, increasing heart rate variability, etc., but the most important benefit is that we are able to accept what we are.
